Line Jetting (Hydro Jetting) – Goldfields & Mid-West

Line Jetting for Mining and Industrial Sites

Blocked or restricted lines bring work to a stop. A backed-up drain, build-up choking a process pipe or a sewer line threatening to overflow can all cause costly interruptions. Line jetting (hydro jetting) is how we restore flow without digging up the line or pulling it apart.

Line Jetting in Goldfields & Mid-West

GCW provides line jetting for mine sites, processing plants, industrial facilities and commercial properties. Our mine-spec trucks carry high-volume pumps and purpose-built vacuum attachments to break up the blockage and capture the displaced material for responsible disposal.

GCW combines the operational discipline, compliance rigour and environmental accountability that head office demands with the on-the-ground responsiveness and local knowledge that site operations depend on.

What Is Line Jetting (Hydro Jetting)?

Line jetting, also called “hydro jetting” or “hydro blasting” in Goldfields & Mid-West, is a method of clearing and cleaning pipes, drains and lines using high-pressure water. Line jetting handles what rodding can’t: grease, scale, sludge, root intrusion and hardened product build-up that coats the full bore of the pipe. Because water does the work, the line itself isn’t cut or dug up.

How Hydro Jetting Works

The operator feeds a high-pressure hose fitted with a line-jetting head into the pipe. Nozzles direct water forward to break through the blockage and backward to pull the hose along, scour the walls and move loosened material back towards the recovery area. Our industrial vacuum trucks then remove the debris and standing liquid, containing the waste for transport.

GCW’s Line Jetting Services

GCW uses specialised hydro blasting equipment and industrial vacuum trucks with purpose-built attachments to clear and clean lines, extract waste material, and dispose of it safely through licensed pathways.

Our line jetting services for mining, industrial and commercial clients include:

Clearing blocked stormwater and sewer lines

Removing scale, sediment, sludge and accumulated debris

Cleaning commercial drains and underground pipework

Clearing industrial and process lines

Preparing lines for planned maintenance or inspection

Vacuum recovery of loosened material and standing liquid

Line jetting can be booked for an unexpected blockage or included in scheduled site maintenance. Our permanent presence in Kalgoorlie, Leonora and Geraldton means we can respond to emergency blockages and unplanned shutdowns across the Goldfields and Mid West.

Line Jetting FAQs

What is line jetting used for on mining and industrial sites?

Line jetting clears blockages and build-up from stormwater drains, sewer pipes, process lines and other site pipework. High-pressure water breaks up scale, sediment, sludge, grease and debris to restore flow without excavating or damaging pipes. Industrial vacuum trucks recover displaced material for disposal.

Does GCW recover what’s flushed out of the line?

Yes, GCW has line jetting and industrial vacuum trucks. Material cleared from the line is drawn straight into a truck’s holding tank, reducing health and safety risks. This controlled waste is then disposed of through EPA- and DWER-compliant pathways. GCW has documented pathways for all waste streams, and holds controlled waste management and transport licences.

Can GCW clear sewer and wastewater lines at a camp or remote site?

Yes, we service drains, sewer lines and wastewater systems at mine sites, camps and accommodation villages across the Goldfields and Mid West. We have additional trailers available for sites without a dedicated water supply. Thanks to our established presence and local workforce, you don’t need to wait for a crew and equipment to travel from Perth.

How quickly can GCW respond to a blocked line?

Because our trucks and crews are already in Kalgoorlie, Leonora and Geraldton, we mobilise in-region rather than from Perth. We aim to be on site within 24 hours or the same day where operationally possible. Call us to speak to a local decision-maker who can schedule the work.
