GCW provides shutdown waste management support as a single managed service, coordinating toilet hire, bulk waste transfers, working at heights and confined space support, tank cleaning and wash pad services.
We plan the scope with you before the shutdown starts. We have crews and equipment permanently in-region for faster mobilisation. And we manage the full scope of shutdown waste management so you work with one managed service partner, not five.

We’re already here.
GCW has people, equipment and infrastructure already established in Kalgoorlie, Leonora and Geraldton. We are building the structure to scale and the discipline to support projects across WA.
Why Choose GCW
Our crews, fleet and yards are based locally in the Goldfields and Mid West across Kalgoorlie, Leonora and Geraldton. This established presence allows for responsive waste management support, including emergency call-outs and unplanned shutdowns.
GCW provides toilets, bulk transfers, confined-space work, tank cleaning and wash pads under a single managed service. You plan and coordinate one partner, not five separate contractors.
You always talk to someone who knows your project and can mobilise people and equipment as soon as operationally possible. We also work with you to scope site requirements before the shutdown so you have what you need.
GCW delivers the full scope of mining-grade shutdown waste management services with the compliance standards your head office requires and the people on the ground your site can actually reach.
Shutdown waste management is the planning, collection and disposal of the waste a mining shutdown generates:
It’s scoped in advance (for planned shutdowns) and coordinated around the programme of works to de-risk shutdowns.
GCW provides toilet hire, bulk waste transfers, working-at-heights and confined-space work, tank cleaning, and wash pad servicing. All five are managed under one provider. These services can be combined with our broader waste management capability across liquid waste, solid waste and industrial vacuum truck work where required.
Your shutdown managers can plan and run a single waste management contract across one or more shutdowns, rather than coordinating several contractors and service providers.
Yes. GCW can help plan for increased waste volumes during shutdowns, including additional toilets, bulk transfers, tank cleaning and liquid or solid waste removal. Our vac truck capacity ranges from 6,000L rigid vehicles to 50,000L double road train tankers, and we have purpose-built attachments for tank and plant servicing.
We support shutdowns across the Goldfields and Mid West, with permanent operations in Kalgoorlie, Leonora and Geraldton. Our crews live and work locally in-region.
Yes, our permanent presence in the Goldfields and Mid West means we can respond to emergency call-outs and unplanned shutdowns. We can mobilise crews and equipment on the same day where operationally possible, or work with you to plan support services around your shutdown programme.
Yes, we are licensed to handle and transport waste categories A to Z. We have documented waste management and disposal pathways for all waste streams, and structured operational processes:
We operate to the standard your head office requires, and we can demonstrate it.
